Here's the brief story of Dick and The Balls, a punk band from Kalamazoo, Michigan, that was around from October 1982 to August 1983. During that short time, they had three lineups that included former and future members of the Meatmen, Violent Apathy, the Virelles, Homo Picnic, Rich and the Poor, the I Heart Kalamazoo Singers, Gremlin, the Harmones and others we don't know about.
Dick and the Balls second lineup (B&W photo above), made up of John Ball, Jenny Ball, Dick Ball and Ricky Ball managed to worm their way onto bills with the likes of Minor Threat, Negative Approach, and Fang.
Dick and the Balls third lineup was Richard Ball, Ricky, Dick and Eliot Ball. This lineup recorded 10 songs in July 1983 that were released on CD around 2000. The CD is out of print.
